winning for Kentucky
Meet Dale
Born into a working-class family with deep roots in the horse racing industry, Dale grew up learning the values that define Kentucky.
From a young age, Dale was immersed in the world of Thoroughbred racing, walking the horses and learning from the best trainers of Kentucky.
Despite facing personal challenges, including dyslexia, Dale graduated from Butler High School and never let obstacles define his path. Instead, he built a globally recognized career through pure grit and determination.
Dale’s vision for Kentucky is built on common-sense values: expanding economic opportunity, investing in public education and job training, protecting Kentucky industries from harmful overregulation and trade policies, and defending the rights and freedoms of individuals.
Dale Romans rose to become one of the most accomplished and respected Thoroughbred trainers in America.
Dale has had 12 horses race in the Kentucky Derby. With over 2,250 career wins, including victories in the Preakness Stakes and the Travers Stakes, Dale has trained some of the most winning horses in Kentucky.
But Dale’s achievements go beyond trophies and headlines. As president of the Kentucky Horsemen’s Benevolent & Protective Association (HBPA), he has been a vocal advocate for Kentucky workers, championing fair treatment, protecting jobs, and defending the economic lifeblood of local communities tied to racing, agriculture, and small business.
Dale Romans is running for the United States Senate because Kentucky needs leadership that reflects its people.
He is committed to restoring trust in government by putting aside the partisan nonsense and getting to work – something he does every day.
Dale knows there’s a lot riding on this election. Kentucky has a choice: more of the same in Washington, or a candidate who has built a career the hard way, understands everyday struggles, and is ready to win for working families with the same relentless energy he brought to every racetrack in America.
